Asi el aterrizaje no tendria tantos problemas por la combustión. Estos estabilizarian a la nave,con un descenso mas controlado y menos brusco. What happens to the 2nd stage after satellite deploy ? I guess it re-enters the atmosphere and burns up, is there any images of that ? The onboard cameras are still working, right ?

@logitech4873 That was unplanned. Typically, Falcon 9 second stages after LEO launches are deorbited immediately after deploying the satellites and burn up over some very empty region of the ocean. These Starlink launches usually target an area south of Australia, with the warning for mariners posted days ahead of time.

Last week one visibly burnt up over some American city.

I,m not an engineer but as I've seen the lift and landing, in case of landing maneuver it seems to have huge momentum that the engines can't harmonize the huge momentum to the required landing momentum or speed. Perhaps it may need more time as that landing maneuver must start from a reasonably high distance to enable the engines to harmonize the huge momentum, parachuting may be needed to reduce the great pressure created by engines abruptly to absorb the kinetic energy , in turn may lead to destroying the ship.

Flipping higher wouldn’t help if an engine explodes (Like it did here)
