No chance of me becoming a pilot anytime soon, but I’m a curious bunny. I always thought it meant they were fully loaded etc. This makes far more logical sense. Thank you

Great explanation, factual and on key. I flew the 777 for 21 years at American as a Line CKA, over 17,000 hrs in type 200-300 great plane. Doodoo happens. Thats why we brief on every Takeoff, plan for an engine failure so there are no surprises. Every landing brief a Go Around that way again, No surprises. Look forward to following you.

So, I guess with the MMO, the Euro fighter Typhoon has more possibility to survive it due to the nose elevators?

14:48 16000 miles away?! Strange mistake for a pilot to make, mind you it's pretty close to the return distance.

This is why you cannot have unmanned ATC and autonomous pilotless aircraft with souls on board - people are able to respond to rapidly changing situations and innovate a creative solution to the problem. The cargo is not expendable.

How about the A-380?
Prieš 2 valTeddyT6
I just thought it was the way the plane was designed. But I also notice when the plane is "catered" the caterers enter the starboard side .
Prieš 3 valManjiri Desai
you look like Scott Lang (a.k.a Ant Man).
Prieš 3 valmjr320
i once heard an aviation photographer say he only liked to take photos of planes in the air because on the ground they are just a bus 🤣

When joe asked whats The most beautiful plane . And i thought the ans would be a 747 but when she said concorde beware i might be falling in love with someone
Prieš 3 valRSRSR 911
50:50 chance other engine could've failed too! Always felt safer in a 747 1:4 chance
Prieš 3 valKrishna Sujith
Fun fact: Formula 1 cars used grooved tires with a similar profile to the 747 tires in the early to mid 2000's when pitstops were banned

Cap, didnt they needed to dump fuel for the landing weight ?

Sure Joe, you can watch me reverse park a 46 tonne, 20m long Truck & Trailer, I've even had to park it on one side of a Barge through a central ramp. You're welcome😅 Great video btw. Had the hardest landing I've ever experienced while flying into Dunedin, NZ, in late January. I was thinking the Pilot flying was on a promise and in a hurry to get to the Hotel, but this has opened up other possibilities☺

Hello, the Pic illustrating the VHF is in reality a VOR antenna, and not a typical VHF communication antenna
Prieš 4 valslippy
Don’t get me wrong I’m a big fan of the 380, but nothing beats the 747.. the Queen of the skies. Just an iconic plane

i fill my tires with a 80/20 nitrogen blend. it has good performance and it is easier to source than pure nitrogen.

Bravo Zulu\(^o^)/ How do you say ”Job well done" in German? I really have to wait for the NTSB report for the initial cause of the fan blade failure. Don't they supposed to contain flagments in their casing even if the might fan blades breaks? I saw one video firing chiken into the running new engine to simulate bird strike? Thank you (every time and always) for sharing your video.
