What if there is a way to destroy the universe so fundamentally that life as we know it will be impossible forever?

Hey kurzgesagt-in a nutshell Can I ask a question? Hey what if the false vaccum actually started the universe(cause of big bang) like when it was dark and from somewhere this vaccum creates an explosion and filling the universe with energy? What do think

So theory, what if the universe is a new stable version of the higgs field, expanding outward. If we have no idea what a new stable version of the higgs fields physics looks like who's to say that outside the known universe isn't the old stable state of the higgs field. This would mean that the big bang would have been something like the quantum tunneling of the higgs field out of its previous stable state. Other universes would be other stable versions of the higgs field.

When the fabric of space rips apart, its zero point energy will be repotentialized, and the energy will be released to the tune of 10^95 ergs per cubic centimeter. 10^95 ergs is the energy output of 100,000,000 suns over 100,000,000 years. One cubic centimeter is about the size of a sugar cube, and space is very big. Most of that energy will be dissipated into n-dimensional space. Only a tiny fraction of it will actually enter 3-dimensional space. When the light from the rip reaches the earth, it will be brighter than the sun and if you're outside when the light from the rip becomes visible, in under one minute, fully dressed, you will be badly sunburned through your clothing. Humans will cry out to the mountains, "Fall on us and hide us, because the anger of God is upon us, and we can't stand it!" A thousand or so years later the destruction itself will reach the Earth, and in 1/1,000,000,000,000 of a second the Earth and all space around it will be annihilated. The heavens will be thrown out like a worn-out garment, and no place will they be found. If space itself ceases to exist, there will be no place at all for anything.

But of course as time goes on, the chances that any one point in space might undergo vacuum decay approaches 1. The more space there is, the more opportunities for it to happen. Meaning that vacuum decay should happen at an increasing rate as the universe ages. At least that's my understanding.
