Okay, so what im understanding here is: 1 we wait until an astroid comes close to earth and moves with its line of orbit. 2 the astroid gets pushed closer to the earth or the moon and gets in a stable orbit. 3 we start mining parts of the astroid with a special drill 4 we send the resources to earth in one of the ways described in the video and we collect them. 5 the steps repeat BUT with some of the resources from the astroid so it becomes cheaper. I'm curious though. How long would it take in total to get one asteroid to orbit the Earth, and following that how many can we safely put around our orbit without damaging our satellites? Will they be completely mined up, or will there be remains that fall to Earth that aren't burned up in the Ozone layer? Is it possible that we can make a mistake with its trajectory and send it too close to the planet?
