Imagine AI was already created many years ago...But first to incorporate AI in our world in a secure way a testing environment in the form of a computer simulation was created, an exact copy of our world made through all data collected by Google, Internet, smartphones, etc over many many years... Also everyone that's inside this copy, humans and AI see each other as true human beings without knowing who or what they really are and just thinking they are true humans as the existence of AI to their knowledge still doesn't exist. Their memory has been wiped at the beginning of them entering the program. Higher class individuals can enter this program with preconfigured lives and/or added knowledge and/or without memory loss and live as Virtual Gods for many more years and many more forms. Why would you need to simulate every human? I do not need you to also be simulated in order for my mined to be simulated. If the environment all the way down to inside my body does not need to exist until I observe it the same can be said for everybody else. We also would not need to simulate every function of the brain as most things that we observe or brains controlling (bodily functions) would not need to take place unless we are observing them for instance breathing is something our brains do as a background function. we would not need to simulate my mind thinking to breath for the simulation to make me breath.

To make these 5 rules we take a lot of presuppositions as well, reflecting our own perspective inside the simulation, if we are in one. But the outside may be very different from the inside. Maybe the laws of physics as we know only work like this inside the simulation and are a lot different on the outside. Like no such things as gravity or electromagnetism. Maybe the "simulation" is even a natural occurrence on the outside universe, naturally arising from that physics, like a flower, instead of being made by intelligent beings. And even if we are just encoded information, we continue being "real", as encoded information is something real.
