I wouldn't be so sure that this has a negative effect on YouTube views. Your videos probably get more exposure if they are posted on Facebook even though you don't immediately get more views on YouTube, but if people post links to the original, that will probably be beneficial to the content creator. I like the Creative Commons model: you may copy but you have to give credit. Personally I don't use Facebook, so I don't know what I'm missing out on that is popular over there. I could imagine there are people the opposite of me: Facebook users who don't ever go to YouTube. If you would forbid your videos to be reposted on Facebook (and people actually respect your copyright) those people will never see your videos and you'll be completely unknown to them, but if you allow reposting and require reposters to link to the original video and to your webshop, you will likely get more views and sell more stuff.
