If humans want to expand into space, it will take us incredible amounts of energy. How do we do that? Easy: we will just use the sun’s energy by realizing the most ambitious construction project in history. This is how it works.

A solid Dyson sphere would require a circumference equal to Jupiter's orbit in order to keep a safe warm environment inside. maybe even larger....Imagine all that energy closed in a shell. A shell with enough surface area to have a backyard the size of Earth for every Human and more o.0 Also, perfect to hide our solar system from the rest of the Galaxy :D

@Alex Hosten makes sense Thanks for the reply!!!
Prieš 3 dienasAlex Hosten
So between the outside mirrors and the sun there would be collection points (probably other mirrors). The sun sends light to the outside mirrors the outside mirrors would shine all the sunlight toward the inside mirrors that are pointed outwards, they then send a lot of focused sunlight back to earth, where they would be catched and (for example) be used to heat up water to generate electricity
Prieš 6 dienųDude bro
i have questions. wouldn't re-directing the solar energy to any planet especially earth cause rapid climate change and end life? how would a planet deal with a sudden energy gain change? in this case, we could use the dyson sphere to heat mars up and make it bear an atmosphere no?
Prieš 9 dienųGeorge Salaridze
